Workshops & classes
Every second person that has ventured into the shop since it opened has asked the same question: Will you be doing classes?
Why yes, we most certainly are!
There will be a fantastic drop spindle workshop on 15 May, Absolute Beginner classes running over three weeks and a very useful 'Merry go round' session all about working in the round.
For more info have a nosey at the Workshops page and if you would like to attend, all you need to do is email tash@knitschyarns.co.nz. Easy peasy!
Cascade order - 12 April
Hurro!
We're going to be sending off a new Cascade order tomorrow, 12 April. If you would like a certain colour, or certain amount for a specific project, fill out the form here (don't worry about the deposit) and we'll be in touch as soon as it arrives.
If you need some reminding of how amazing the selection is, you can find the 220 wool selection here and the superwash selection here. With a Manu in mind, i'm going to add some sport superwash to play with too :D
A new favourite
How cute is this? Ukelele, sweet girl and a song about knitting? Heaven.
Feel like a treat?
We've teamed up with Debbie, of Gracie Lou, for a very exciting evening of tempting deliciousness!
Debbie has been bringing us wonderful skin care and cosmetics at below retail prices for a while now. But as we all know, it's great to meet the people behind the scenes and play with products to see what they are really like. I've only been buying things for my make up bag from Gracie Lou - so much faster and painless than dealing with the mall.
So would you like to meet Debbie? And have an excuse to hang out in the shop? And buy some gorgeous products? You do? Hooray!
The plan, stan:
Tuesday, 12 April
6pm - 9pm
right here, at Holland Road Yarn Company
281 Jackson Street
Petone (opposite the water fountain)
what will she have? Anything from Bare Escentuals, MAC, smashbox, OPI, Trilogy, Living Earth, Stila, Lancome, Revlon, Clinique, Karen Murrell (my new fave), and loads more!
You can even RSVP to the event over on facebook. It's not just for yarny types either - so bring along your friends! We might even put a few edible sweet treats out for you too...
